School Psychologist

Our School Psychologist is Dr. Jonathan Dobkowski. Dr. Dobkowski frequently observes and evaluates our classes and students and meets with preschool teachers and parents as needed. If necessary, Dr. Dobkowski creates plans tailored to the specific needs of a child, and oversees the implementation of such plans.

About  Dr. Jonathan Dobkowski

Dr. Jonathan Dobkowski is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and families. In addition, he provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults with a wide variety of mental health conditions. Dr. Dobkowski has experience with psycho-educational and psychological assessments. In addition, he has experience in the areas of clinical child psychology and school psychology. He has treated clients with a range of disorders including children and adolescents with ADHD, emotion-regulation difficulty, learning disabilities, and emotional challenges. Through cognitive-behavioral methods, Dr. Dobkowski aids his clients in gaining control of their presenting problems and overcoming their challenges.

Dr. Dobkowski received his Master’s and Doctorate degree in School/Child Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. As a post-doctorate resident at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Assessment and Intervention, Dr. Dobkowski provided supervision to doctoral level practicum students and interns. During his residency, he guided students in administration, interpretation, and integration of psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults with developmental and learning disabilities, personality disorders, and emotional disorders.  Furthermore, Dr. Dobkowski has taught psychology courses at Nova Southeastern University and is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
